Rainbow

Dark clouds may hide the sun! Raindrops, on down they come!
I'm smiling, 'cause I see a rainbow!
It's cold up on the hill! There sings a whippoorwill!
She sings her song for the Rainbow!

Rainbow, your colors are calling to me!
Red blazes with Orange! Yellow blossoms from Green!
Blue soars through Indigo, to rich realms of Violet, for me!

Dew drops dance on the leaves, shimmering with the breeze --
Within each one, a sparkling rainbow!
Just close your eyes for fun -- eyelashes catch the sun!
And dazzling fragments of the rainbow!

Rainbow, your colors are calling to me!
Red blazes with Orange! Yellow blossoms from Green!
Blue soars through Indigo, to rich realms of Violet, for me!

Sweet sound the raindrops bring!
The trees and flowers sing!
And when the Sun breaks through,
Then I'll be watching the Rainbow with you!

Beside the Waterfall's moss-painted canyon walls,
Deep in the mist, you'll find a rainbow!
Clouds yield to azure blue! Sunlight shines, streaming through --
Sending the magic of the rainbow!
